In summation

“So, now they are cast out.”

“Indeed. The Hand is particularly enthusiastic to bring them to justice.”

“Good. Adds to the illusion. Communicate to the Seraphs that they are to... labour their efforts in pursuing them.”

“I still find it hard to believe that this was their plan all along.”

“Perhaps it wasn’t. But who cares. We win on all fronts.”

“Oh, how so?”

“We may have lost a city, a city we never had to begin with, but we have gained a clan. The Giovanni cry foul at the Camarilla for their betrayal offering us silent aid for the loss of their Don. The Camarilla’s claims of a Sabbat plot are mooted by the fact that they now run the city, not us. But the true prize out of this, we have gained the perfect infiltrators, Sabbat fugitives that have already, openly helped the Camarilla.”

“Cunning. Even more so having one of them betray the band. Having her request to spare their lives rescinded only adds to their desperate situation. I take it she didn’t have too much trouble breaking them out?”

“I thought she may. But the surviving Templar from their escape spoke of a curious sight before they stormed out, telling of a floating glass orb that erupted sunlight and flooding the room with deadly rays.”

“Most resourceful. But what of their next move?”

“They await my orders.”

“Yes, but can they be controlled?”

“You worry too much, Carboni. They will be good little pets and do exactly as they're told. You'll see...”
